Aluminum die casting, from die steel to assembly-ready parts
Aluminum is where die casting earns its keep: thin walls, complex housings, thermal performance and weight savings. P&A International manages aluminum casting programs — ADC12, A380 and heat-treatable A356 — through vetted partner foundries in China, every one ISO 9000 certified or better.
One dedicated engineer owns your program: die simulation and build, casting trials, CNC machining, surface treatment and the quality file. You get assembly-ready castings, not foundry problems.

Aluminum casting capability

ADC12 / A380
The workhorse alloys for housings, brackets and heat-dissipating parts — cast on 160 t – 3,000 t machines.

A356 programs
Heat-treatable, anodisable castings for structural and cosmetic applications.

Machining line
Sealing faces, bearing bores and thread patterns machined to drawing, in fixture, with CMM verification.

Surface treatment
Shot blast, chromate, powder coat, e-coat and anodise — engineered for your environment.
Heat sinks, motor housings, LED fixtures, pump bodies and telecom enclosures are our most common aluminum casting programs.
Engineering capability
- ADC12 and A380 HPDC for complex thin-wall parts
- A356 with T6 heat treatment for structural and anodised applications
- Die build with flow simulation; vacuum-assist for porosity-critical parts
- In-line CNC machining with agreed datum scheme and CMM reports
- Impregnation and pressure testing for sealed housings
- X-ray porosity inspection; CT scanning for critical sections
- Chromate, powder coat, e-coat and anodise finishing routes
- Sub-assembly: inserts, seals, fasteners — delivered line-ready

Why engineers & buyers choose PA
For design engineers
Casting quality is decided at the die: your engineer reviews gates, overflows, draft and datum scheme before steel, and casting trials come back to you with parameters and X-ray evidence where specified — engineering visibility most foundries keep to themselves.
For purchasing
A single accountable supplier for cast + machine + finish + assemble, itemised pricing, your tooling in your name, and an ISO 9000 certified or better network — aluminum castings without the multi-vendor finger-pointing.
3 easy steps to get started
Send your casting
STEP file, alloy thoughts, volumes, and which surfaces seal or show.
Engineering proposal
Process and alloy recommendation, die concept, itemised tooling + part pricing.
Samples to supply
First castings with FAI/CMM, X-ray where agreed, then production with SPC.
Applications
Motor and gearbox housings, LED and lighting fixtures, heat sinks and thermal housings, pump and valve bodies, telecom and electronics enclosures, brackets and structural parts — machined, finished and packed for your production line.

Which aluminum route fits your part?
Aluminum parts have more than one path — quick orientation:
| HPDC (ADC12/A380) | Complex thin-wall parts at 5k+ per year |
| A356 + T6 | Structural strength or anodised cosmetics |
| Extrusion + machining | Constant cross-sections like heat sinks — often cheaper than casting |
| CNC from billet | Low volumes, prototypes, or tolerance-critical parts |
What to send us for a fast, accurate quote
The more of this you can share, the quicker we can return a proposed casting plan and price:
- STEP/IGES model and 2D drawing
- Alloy preference or operating environment
- Annual volume and ramp profile
- Sealing, cosmetic and machining requirements
- Test/acceptance criteria (pressure, porosity class)
Unsure between casting and extrusion or billet? Send the part — the comparison comes free with the quote.
